Building a Survival Shelter Workshop

The greatest danger to the lost or injured hiker is hypothermia. Learn to recognize the warning signs of hypothermia, the mechanisms of heat loss, and how to build a survival shelter using just what nature has to offer.
For ages 15 – adult (ages 13 or 14 with an adult). Preregistration required.

Instructor information: Rudy Bourget has 40+ yrs. outdoor & wilderness survival skills experience and has been very active in Boy and Cub Scout leadership and training for nearly 20 years. He was a founding member of the White Mountain Primitive Skills Group and has presented primitive skills programs at the New England Primitive & Maine Primitive Gatherings.
