Teacher feedback needed FOR PD’s

Educators,   Recently I have been working with NH conservation commission association to look for grant funding opportunities that would allow for teacher professional development opportunities in the area of natural resources content, collaboration with commissioners, and implementation of community-based science projects around the state. However, before we pursue the funding line any further I am hoping to get teacher feedback about if they would potentially participate in such opportunities.   Here is a link to the survey which includes additional information about the potential opportunities. It should not take more than about 5 minutes to complete.   survey link: http://goo.gl/forms/bMhU7cR5R2 Potential PD Opportunity For...

Patchenik Map Competition – deadline approaching! Feb 7th

A quick reminder that the deadline for the 2015 Barbara Bartz Petchenik Children’s World Mapping Competition is approaching – please let teachers in New Hampshire know that map illustrations need to be postmarked by Saturday, February 7, 2015 (just three weeks from today). Winners in 2013 got press attention as well as recognition at the international conference – for example:...
