This workshop is for any educator who wants to know more about the geology of New Hampshire and gain new ideas for teaching about it. Learn from an award winning teacher who is the former president of the NH Geological Society, currently the Outreach Coordinator for the NH Geological Survey, Adjunct Professor of Earth Science at Colby-Sawyer College, and an Independent Earth Science Educational Facilitator.

About the Presenter:
Leland A. Wilder, M.Ed. Leland has a B.A. in Geology and a M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision. He is currently the Public Outreach Coordinator for the NH Geological Survey, and an Independent Earth Science Educational Facilitator. He was formerly an Earth-Space Science teacher and Science Chairperson at Rundlett Junior High School in Concord. In 2001 he was the recipient of the Howard I. Wagner Award for “Outstanding Contribution to Science Education in NH”. He is the past president
of the NH Science Teachers Association and the New Hampshire Geological Society, and formally Adjunct Professor of Earth Science at Colby-Sawyer College.
