New Hampshire Geographic alliance pairs with the State department of Education

In July geography and science teachers met At Conval High School for a week to develop lessons with a geo-science emphasis. All schools in New Hampshire are required to teach geography. It is often taught within the social studies discipline but physical geography fits very well within a science curriculum too. These lessons for Middle and High Schools can be used by both science and social studies teachers. It was a very successful week and we will begin posting the lessons over the next month. The first lesson will be the Path of the Black death lesson written by Chris Heider. Please continue to visit the website for more lessons.
