New Hampshire Project Learning Tree is pleased to announce the availability of four $250.00 grants to help assist in the development of outdoor classrooms on schoolyards.

Examples of projects that qualify include planting trees and shrubs to provide wildlife food or cover, establishing pollinator gardens, building ponds or other water sources such as birdbaths and fountains, construction of nature trails, building bridges, benches and similar structures.

New Hampshire Project Learning Tree supports students and educators in projects that make a difference in helping children connect with nature.  The Outdoor Classroom Special Fund was started to honor the leadership of  Esther Cowles, Executive Director 1997-2011.
