By maintaining a composting bin in the classroom, teachers can participate in an innovative program that helps students learn about our environment, while allowing teachers to meet national curriculum standards in geography, math, language arts and science. Using fun hands-on activities, students learn about the vital importance of practicing stewardship of our natural resources.
